Hamptons Villa

The New-Build Sterile Void: The property arrived as a stark architectural shell with fixed contemporary finishes that lacked warmth, texture, and personal character. Balancing Classic Style with Regional Climate: The clients wanted a Hamptons-inspired aesthetic without it feeling out of context, heavy, or impractical for the Mediterranean indoor-outdoor lifestyle. Repetition vs. Disconnect Across Four Bedrooms: Each private room needed an individual identity for occupants and guests without diverging into disconnected, mismatched themes.

Textured Material & Palette Layering: Softened the hard architectural surfaces using a foundation of sand, ivory, and cream, enriched with natural white oak, tactile linens, curved upholstery, and muted blue and soft green highlights. Indoor-Outdoor Spatial Harmony: Coordinated the living, dining, and exterior terrace furniture layouts to establish an unbroken visual rhythm, using durable outdoor textiles and relaxed timber profiles built for coastal wear. Distinct Yet Coordinated Bedroom Suites: Designed each bedroom around varied furniture profiles, bespoke headboard silhouettes, and layered textiles, maintaining an overarching aesthetic thread while giving every room an individual point of view.
